The academy appears calm, yet students bear hidden scars. Yuki shows Mina her student council draft, revealing Mina's dual nature. Mei Ren forces Akira to the floor, where she wears a replica of a special necklace. Yuki finds Mina reading her diary; Mina apologizes and admits envy over a ring given to Akira. Separately, Veratos saves Yuzuru from a self-destructing vampire and learns Yuzuru seeks Nanami in the Vampire Bund. Mina and Akira locate Nanami, but Hysterica ambushes them with minions in a forest. Nanami escapes after stopping Mina, while Veratos fights Hysterica, discussing their past. Yuzuru finds Nanami, who pleads for death due to her feelings for him. Hysterica attacks Yuzuru, captures Nanami, and escapes, leaving Mina, Akira, and Veratos to speculate on her plans for humanity.
