Jan 7, 2010Recent deaths are attributed to a vampire, sparking debate on a game show between believers Yumi and Seiichi Hirai and skeptics. A Romanian girl named Mina Tepeş joins the discussion, later revealed to be a vampire princess. Her servant Veratos appears, displaying a severed arm that belongs to Seiichi. Seiichi is exposed as the killer, transforming into a giant bipedal chameleon after attacking Yumi. He flees to the roof, where Mina confronts and easily kills him. Mina declares her intention to establish a new vampire kingdom called the Vampire Bund at Tokyo Landfill #0.

They defeat two assassins disguised as police. On a tower, Akira reveals his amnesia from an injury a year ago. A spider vampire named Tsuchigumo attacks them. When Mina cries out his name, Akira recalls a promise to protect her from their youth. He rediscovers his heritage as a werewolf of the Earth Clan, defeats Tsuchigumo, and rescues Mina.

At Mina’s estate, Akira jokes about forgetting a childhood promise to protect her. Elsewhere, Nanami is overwhelmed by zombie vampires.

Akira and Veratos identify reporter Nicole Edelman as a vampire due to her scent of shade gel. She reveals she killed Dermailles' agent and stitched a bomb into her body. When Nicole attacks Mina, Akira restrains her and Veratos stabs her, incinerating her. The bomb activates, but Akira throws it into an elevator shaft, causing a small explosion. The bill is subsequently considered after the city witnesses the conference.

Meanwhile, Akira finds a depressed Hikosaka on a train, which explodes as he commits suicide. Hysterica attempts to kill Nanami and Yuzuru by breaking a bridge, but Mina transforms to save them. Hysterica realizes the knife in Nanami contains Mina’s blood extract, establishing Mina as the new master. Nanami stabs Hysterica, and Veratos ignites her with Agni’s Blood. Yuzuru chooses to become a vampire to stay with Nanami.

Mina asks Yuki to keep the Three Clans secret, but Yuki informs Akira anyway. Rozenmann, Ivanovic, and Li lead the Three Clans to the Bund, challenging Mina's nobility. She must marry within her lineage to produce an heir. The clan leaders send assassins to kill Akira by daybreak, with the winner marrying Mina. Mina learns Akira's different lineage and lifespan make him unsuitable for marriage.

Akira battles an assassin with tentacled arms who questions him about the true blood lineage. Unable to transform, Akira is rescued by Mei Ren, who reveals her true form and confesses her love. The assassin then casts them into a pit, changing into Yuki’s appearance to cut Akira’s chest. Upon waking, Akira sees Mina’s form and, enraged by the repeated questions about the legacy, transforms into a werewolf and kills the assassin.

He learns that Mei Ren previously forced him to swallow a candy that blocked his transformation. Akira also discovers that Mei Ren works for Telomere. Having regained all memories, including those of his true blood legacy, Akira faces a brutal attack from the werecat Mei Ren. Despite severe injuries, he uses his remaining strength to defeat her. Meanwhile, Regendorf and Alphonse reveal to Mina the secret of the true blood lineage, which involves two princesses found in an underground castle years ago. Only one can continue the bloodline, whether vampire or beast. Mina wins her gamble, leading the leaders of the Three Clans to swear an oath to her. Later, Mina and Akira reunite at the estate, where Mina pledges to stay by his side forever.
