Ep. 19: Matsuda investigates Yotsuba Group while posing as Misa's manager to contact L.

Feeling inadequate regarding his role in the Kira case, Matsuda conducts independent research on the Yotsuba Group. He discovers evidence placing Kira within the building but is captured by eight businessmen before he can act. Utilizing a fake ID provided by Watari, Matsuda assumes the identity of Misa's manager. He feigns a commercial deal proposal while secretly contacting L via a modified belt buckle. Following L's guidance, Matsuda stages his own death. Later, during a group meeting, one member decides to leave due to fear of repercussions from Kira's actions.
