Ep. 14: Dororo releases the Amanojaku and accidentally frees the greedy demon Kajirinkon

After spending a night at a temple, Dororo accidentally releases the Amanojaku by eating a Manjū offering. These demons, trapped by a guardian god years ago, descend upon the village causing chaos. Dororo attempts to stop them but is punished by villagers who blame him. In the ensuing conflict, Dororo topples a stone monument, freeing Hitokuchi-kajiri, also known as Kajirinkon. This human-eating monster originated from the endless greed of a cruel headman after his death. Kajirinkon pursues Dororo and the Amanojaku to a five-storied pagoda. There, they defeat the demon by setting the building on fire, ending the threat posed by these supernatural entities.
