Ep. 3: Hyakkimaru and Dororo investigate a village cursed by a monster while facing Lady Bandai's denial.

After Hyakkimaru kills a demon stalking him following the orphanage tragedy, Dororo insists on accompanying him. A bell-carrying figure named Kanekozo observes their camp before they seek a monster in a village. Lady Bandai denies the threat and imprisons them, but Hyakkimaru repels a water creature from a well. Dororo pursues the monster to the mansion, only to be captured and beaten by villagers who revere Bandai yet claim the area is cursed. Hyakkimaru arrives to save Dororo. The pair then leads the villagers to a bamboo grove, where they finally encounter Kanekozo.
