Ep. 4: Hyakkimaru confronts the true demonic nature of Lady Bandai in the village.

After Hyakkimaru rescues Dororo, they track the mysterious Kanekozo to a bamboo grove, where digging reveals buried gold coins. The group presents the treasure to Lady Bandai, who distributes it to the villagers. That night, Hyakkimaru and the villagers ambush the monster while Dororo watches Lady Bandai but falls asleep. The creature destroys a home, leading Hyakkimaru to Lady Bandai’s residence, where her true demonic form is exposed. A chase ensues, resulting in the monster’s death. During this event, Hyakkimaru’s left leg regenerates, bringing him joy. However, the villagers, viewing Hyakkimaru as a monster, force him and Dororo to leave the settlement.
