A small demon named Chivil travels to Penguin Village with the intention of capturing a human soul. He initially targets Gatchan for this purpose but quickly discovers that Gatchan is not actually human. Consequently, Chivil shifts his focus to Akane as his new target. However, Arale is standing right next to Akane at that moment, creating a complication for the devil's plan to seize the soul.
