Senbei plans a romantic outing in outer space with Midori, yet Arale and Gatchan unexpectedly accompany him on the journey. Upon landing on a distant planet, a hostile creature abducts Midori from the group. In response to this sudden crisis, Senbei attempts to rescue her by confronting the beast using his specialized Pon poko Gun. The narrative focuses on this unexpected interruption of his date and his subsequent effort to overcome the alien threat to save Midori.
