Senbei demonstrates his latest invention, the Time Slipper, a board equipped with a talking clock capable of time travel. Arale accidentally becomes lost in ancient Japan while using the device. Later, Senbei invites Arale and Peasuke on a journey to the prehistoric era to capture a dinosaur. Although they fail to catch a dinosaur, they encounter Peasuke’s prehistoric ancestor. This ancestor provides them with a rare egg in exchange for Senbei’s lighter. Upon returning to the present, the egg hatches, revealing a strange, angel-like baby creature. The group must now deal with the unexpected result of their time-traveling excursion and the mysterious new being that has emerged from the ancient artifact.
