Mr. Popo agrees to train Goku after recognizing his potential. Tien vows to train hard to defeat Goku in the next Martial Arts Tournament. Kami reveals himself to Goku, shocking him with his appearance and story. Kami agrees to revive the Eternal Dragon if Goku stays to train with Mr. Popo for a while. Goku gladly accepts these terms.
