Ep. 22: Quarterfinals commence as Yamcha faces Jackie Chun while Nam battles Ranfan for village water funds

The second match starts with Yamcha attacking Jackie Chun, but the old man’s speed prevents any hits until he pushes Yamcha out of the ring using energy. The third match features Nam fighting Ranfan to earn prize money for his village’s water supply. Nam strikes Ranfan, causing her to cry, but the tears are a deception. She exploits his hesitation to attack, yet Nam defends easily. Ranfan then removes her clothes to distract him. Jackie Chun begins hooting loudly, and Yamcha identifies the sound as Master Roshi, realizing Jackie Chun is actually Roshi. Nam closes his eyes and defeats Ranfan.
