Goku finally arrives at the top of Korin's tower, where he encounters Korin, who refuses to give him the sacred water. Meanwhile, an assassin attempts but fails to kill Mercenary Tao as the target heads to his hotel for a bath. Korin appears deceptive in withholding the bottle from Goku. After a difficult struggle to obtain the water, Korin reveals that Master Roshi was the first person to climb the tower, a feat that took him three years to complete.
