Ep. 16: Gohan Regains His Tail and Transforms to Defeat Vegeta in the Final Battle

Vegeta assaults Gohan with energy blasts while Krillin targets the Spirit Bomb at him, but the Saiyan Prince dodges the initial throw. Gohan redirects the attack using Goku's advice, leaving Vegeta severely weakened yet alive. As Vegeta prepares to kill the Z Fighters, Gohan’s tail regrows, prompting Vegeta to strike first to prevent a Great Ape transformation. Yajirobe ambushes Vegeta with a sword, inflicting injury, but is quickly overpowered. Following Goku’s guidance, Gohan looks at the artificial moon and transforms into a Great Ape. During the ensuing struggle, Vegeta severs Gohan’s tail mid-air. Gohan falls onto the defeated Saiyan, crushing him near death. As Vegeta attempts to flee in his space pod, Krillin grabs Yajirobe’s sword to deliver the final blow.
