Ep. 17: Goku Intervenes to Spare Vegeta as the Group Prepares to Travel to Namek

Goku stops Krillin from killing Vegeta, requesting the chance to fight him again in honorable combat. Krillin agrees, allowing Vegeta to depart Earth. Master Roshi, Bulma, Chi-Chi, and Korin join Goku, Gohan, and Krillin to collect the injured and the deceased. Krillin reveals that Kami is a Namekian and that the planet Namek possesses the ability to create Dragon Balls. The group determines that Nappa’s space pod remains functional and can serve as their transport. Bulma decides to test the vessel to ensure it is viable for the journey.
