Ep. 57: Gohan investigates a signal while Vegeta defeats Zarbon for a Dragon Ball and Goku trains in high gravity.

Gohan detects an energy signal from the village destroyed by Vegeta and heads to investigate. Krillin returns to the cave to share good news with Bulma, but Zarbon and Vegeta follow him. Upon seeing Krillin possess a Dragon Ball, the two rivals fight for it. Zarbon underestimates the battle, unaware that Saiyans grow stronger after recovering from injuries, allowing Vegeta to defeat him easily. Vegeta then retrieves the Dragon Ball and returns it to his stash of five others. Meanwhile, Goku’s ship encounters a magnetic storm that malfunctions the gravity machine, raising the gravity to 100 times normal. Despite the difficulty, Goku embraces this as a new challenge and begins his intense training.
