Ep. 3: Saber battles Lancer and Shirō learns the truth about the Holy Grail War

Saber addresses Shirō as her Master before engaging Lancer, who wounds her with a Noble Phantasm. She identifies him as the Irish hero Cú Chulainn, prompting his departure due to orders from his Master. Shirō and Saber introduce themselves, though his confusion regarding her terminology persists. When Saber attacks Rin and Archer, Shirō intervenes. Rin reveals Shirō lacks basic spell knowledge and awareness of the Holy Grail War, taking him to Kirei Kotomine, her guardian and the Fifth War’s overseer. Shirō learns about the conflict and joins after discovering his survival from a fire ten years ago resulted from the previous war. Finally, Shirō, Saber, and Rin encounter a silver-haired girl accompanied by a massive Servant.
