Illyasviel von Einzbern orders her Berserker Servant, the Greek hero Heracles, to assault the injured Saber. Shirō Emiya and Rin Tohsaka cannot stop the attack, and Shirō blocks a fatal blow to protect Saber. Illyasviel withdraws Berserker, confused by his actions. Dying, Shirō recalls Kiritsugu Emiya’s wish to become a hero of justice, resolving to fulfill it. He miraculously heals overnight, resembling Saber’s regeneration. The next day, Shirō finds Saber at his dojo, gaining insight into her character. Walking back to the main house, he reflects on his growing feelings for her.
