Sho and Asuka win class official elections at the start of the new semester. D.D. and Orudina determine that Maguar eggs were genetically modified to adapt to environments, record combat data, and transmit it to other Maguars. The class plans a talent show play featuring Tsubasa and Hikaru in lead roles, though Tsubasa feels uneasy about the part. The sixth Maguar appears and resists Orudina’s new weapons, including a direct hit from her mothership. D.D. and Figure 17 fire multiple shots at the creature’s outer shell, forcing it to open so Figure 17 can deliver a final blow. Hikaru is wounded during the battle.
