During preparations for a class summer camp, D.D. updates Orudina on Figure 17 and the Maguar threat. Tsubasa grows closer to Sho, while Tokio shows affection for Hikaru. A fourth Maguar appears at night, but Orudina’s weapons fail to stop it. Due to an approaching typhoon, the class moves indoors, prompting Tsubasa and Hikaru to fly to the battle, upsetting Orudina. Figure 17 tears off the Maguar’s wing, causing it to crash before Orudina and D.D. destroy it. The following morning, newspaper journalist Isamu Kuroda arrives in Hokkaido to investigate forest damage caused by Maguar activity.
