Miaka’s brother discovers a hair link between them and confides in a friend about her journey with Yui, Tamahome, and the Suzaku Seven. They uncover suspicious details about the book’s return and learn the authors intended Miaka as a sacrifice to summon one of the four gods. Upon revealing this truth, Miaka denies the claim and severs their connection. Meanwhile, the ship encounters a storm generated by one of the Seriyu Seven, causing Miaka, Nuriko, and Tamahome to fall overboard. During the incident, Tamahome suffers an electric shock.
