Fujita investigates a Van Gogh painting in a basement bar during a police raid.
Jul 3, 2005On a rainy night, Fujita takes shelter in the basement of Grain Bar, where only the owner and one female customer remain. Police wait outside for backup. After tasting aged Irish whisky, Fujita notices a copy of Van Gogh's Chair and offers to clean it for more drinks. He spots a different pipe in the artwork. The customer explains the artist was her father’s friend, who gifted him a pipe before they estranged and died. Fujita realizes the pipe in the painting is the one she bought her father, which he cherished for years. Approaching midnight, Fujita warns the owner about the police above, but the owner refuses to flee with customers present. As they leave, police raid the bar to arrest the owner for his involvement in a 100 million bank robbery years ago.

Fujita investigates Elizabeth's claim of descent from the Giocondo family in Florence.
Jul 10, 2005Elizabeth arrives at Gallery Fake asserting she is Fujita's daughter. Fujita takes her home, but thugs abduct her that night. Using a dropped key, Fujita retrieves a packet from a railway locker containing Antonio de Beatis's diary. He and Sara travel to Florence to meet d'Avalos, an obsessive collector of Mona Lisa copies who claims descent from Constanza d’Avalos to aid his political ambitions. Fujita recruits Carlos for explosives. The diary indicates the painting depicts Lisa Gherardini, wife of Francesco del Giocondo, who is the ancestor of Elizabeth's mother, Flora del Anton Maria del Giocondo. Meanwhile, d’Avalos holds Elizabeth captive in a tower on his estate.

Jul 17, 2005Fujita persuades Carlos to assist in rescuing Elizabeth by claiming a second Da Vinci Mona Lisa might exist. Their attempt via hot air balloon fails, resulting in Fujita being shot in the arm. Meanwhile, d'Avalos hosts a painting exhibition on a boat, displaying the Woman with a Pearl by Carot, which Fujita had loaned. Fujita offers the Antonio de Beatis diary in exchange for Elizabeth. During the exchange, d'Avalos intends to kill both Fujita and Elizabeth. However, Fujita had previously arranged an escape with Carlos. He detonates explosives hidden within the fake Woman with a Pearl painting, destroying the boat and allowing him and Elizabeth to flee successfully.

Fujita then organizes Haruyakko's first fashion show at Gallery Fake, requiring Haruyakko to provide some of his new designs. The event successfully showcases the fusion of styles, impressing the audience and Haruyakko's grandmother, who attends the presentation.

Fujita and Ramos face betrayal by their Tuareg guides in the Sahara desert.
Aug 7, 2005A wealthy client commissions Fujita to retrieve a prehistoric rock painting for a restaurant, prompting a journey to the Sahara with Ramos. Upon arrival, they discover their local Tuareg guide, Iksa, has been murdered. His widow, Assarama, and uncle, Mohammad, agree to lead them toward the Tassili n'Ajjer mountain range. However, near the destination, Assarama and Mohammad ambush Fujita and Ramos, accusing Fujita of withholding payment for a previous expedition which allegedly led to Iksa’s death. They abandon the duo in the desert, but Mohammad returns to demand a higher fee. While Assarama investigates a bank account for the funds, she discovers it is a fraud orchestrated by Mohammad, who stole the money. Realizing the deception, she returns to rescue Fujita and Ramos. The pair overpowers Mohammad, leaving him stranded in the desert without fuel.

Aug 14, 2005Kanto Jewels representative Tomioka asks Fujita for his azurite supplier after admiring a painting at Gallery Fake. Fujita agrees to provide the mineral only if his father’s work is included in the upcoming Blue Collection. The pair visits artist Sakakibara Nanzan, where Fujita makes rude remarks and denies knowing the name Fujita Touka. Later, Fujita reveals to Sarah that his deceased father was the true creator of the blue painting and was exiled for forgery, unlike other artists who survived by hiding their crimes. At the exhibition, Sakakibara’s new piece disappoints Mitamura, while the public is captivated by a recent, dynamic blue painting attributed to Fujita Touka.

Aug 21, 2005Fujita presents a rare revolver music box to Sara, but Endo Takuto, CEO of InterWorld, receives a similar device that explodes upon opening. Fujita is arrested by police after his fingerprints are found on the explosive fragments. Meanwhile, Sara assists Gotou Takuya, who purchased a broken music box from the gallery, by taking him to Senjudou for repairs. Police inform Fujita that the package was sent by Gotou Mayumi, who died a month prior. After Senjudou repairs the item, Takuya invites the group to view his collection. Fujita identifies the explosive as a fake from the gallery. Takuya kidnaps Sara, intending to kill her and himself using the music box, which was part of a pair his father bought for his mother. Fujita and police arrive just in time, and Fujita throws the device out the window to prevent the blast.

Fujita and Yano encounter yakuza during the Ekin festival preparations in summer
Aug 28, 2005After an elevator shooting, Fujita transports hitchhiker Yano toward Akaoka city for the July Ekin festival featuring Hirose Kinzō’s Kabuki paintings. At a roadside diner, Fujita suspects surveillance by two yakuza seeking Yano for allegedly killing their boss’ deputy. Yano evades capture by hiding at the diner while the men pursue his former lover, Kayo, in the nearby Utsukosaki fishing village. Fujita delivers an Ekin painting to the Yafune Shrine for exhibition. Yano secretly reunites with Kayo, who demands he honor a promise to attend the festival together. While Kayo retrieves beers, the yakuza locate Yano and fatally stab him. He survives briefly to see Kayo one last time before passing away.

Fujita and Fei Cui compete for a Shiva murti containing a valuable diamond in India.
Sep 4, 2005Facing a 300 million bill, Fujita accepts a Brahmin’s commission to acquire a genuine Hindu god murti for a new shrine in India. He travels to a Christie's auction in London to bid on a Shiva statue, where he encounters thief Fei Cui, who intends to embed the Orlov Diamond into the idol. After Fujita transports the murti to India, Fei Cui steals it because it holds the companion diamond. Fujita retrieves the statue with a friend’s help but collapses from fatigue and crashes his car. Fei Cui rescues him, taking him to a Harijan village for recovery. Since Harijan individuals cannot enter the temple, she delivers the murti herself. Later, she returns to the temple to steal the companion diamond hidden within the Shiva murti.

Sep 11, 2005Tsujido Luna joins Gallery Fake to train as a painting restorer under the renowned Fujita. She seeks to learn his techniques, particularly regarding "art cancer," a unique Japanese crystal formation. Despite Fujita’s demanding nature, Luna gradually earns his respect and masters the restoration method. She applies this skill to repair a damaged Eugène Delacroix painting owned by her late father, Tsujido Naoyuki, intending to sell it to pay off family debts. After completing the restoration, Luna leaves Fujita to work at a fine arts research center. However, she struggles to find buyers for the Delacroix piece. Recognizing the difficulty of the market, Fujita purchases the painting at a reduced price, framing the discount as a lesson fee for Luna.

During the race, Sara’s anger fades. Later, while on a whale-watching cruise, she accidentally drops the kaleidoscope overboard and becomes sad. Mitamura advises Fujita to comfort Sara, leading them to visit an observatory at Mauna Kea to view the night sky.

Fujita visits his old colleague Parker, providing special glue for restoring Japanese paintings in exchange for private viewing access to European works. Norman, the director, shows wealthy businessman Mr. Richardson around the exhibit to secure sponsorship. Richardson lacks art knowledge, despite his son studying Rubens. Fujita gives Richardson a tour, introducing him to staff who address him as "the Professor." Richardson reveals his only son recently died and expresses distrust of those seeking his money. The director reprimands Fujita for being on the premises. Later, Richardson donates $3 million to the museum, impressed by the staff's work.
