On May 14, 796 S.C., a deceptive imperial vessel enters Iserlohn, allowing Walter von Schenkopp to seize command. The returning Iserlohn fleet is annihilated by the fortress weapon Thor's Hammer. This defeat shifts the strategic balance, prompting Yang to hope for peace. Meanwhile, in Heinessen, Yang attempts to resign from his post but is instead promoted to vice-admiral.
