Kagura sneaks aboard a suspicious ship and engages Takasugi in combat under the bright moonlight. She detects an unusual presence and is ambushed from behind. Although she evades attacks from Matako Kijima’s double pistols, she encounters Henpeita Takechi and the ronin he commands. Kagura causes significant chaos during the fight, but Matako shoots her in the shoulder and leg amidst the confusion. Despite sustaining these injuries, Kagura continues to fight and eventually manages to board the ship.
