After Katsuo knocks out Hachiro and issues unreasonable demands to Kyoshiro, Gintoki and the group oppose him by acting as hosts. Kyoshiro stubbornly refuses these demands, prompting Katsuo to point a dagger at him as a warning. Gintoki intervenes to stop the escalation. Katsuo and his men eventually leave because Katsuo's favorite dog gave birth. Meanwhile, Hachiro's mother hears about the birth and follows them. The situation involves a confrontation between Katsuo and Kyoshiro, with Gintoki mediating, and concludes with the group departing due to the dog's new puppies and Hachiro's mother tracking them.
