Mutsu’s Pleasure Support Club attempts to deliver high-capacity batteries to Aoki and Co., but masked men steal both the power cells and the funds. Mutsu hires the Odd Jobs to retrieve the items and apprehend the club’s missing leader, Sakamoto. Gintoki and his companions quickly capture Sakamoto and visit Aoki and Co., yet find no evidence. They are then compelled to join Sakamoto on a drinking excursion. While walking home late at night, a group ambushes them from behind. Gintoki and Sakamoto recognize the threat and recall their past as they face the attackers. Sakamoto draws his weapon and uses a bluff to make the enemies retreat, ensuring that no one is injured in the confrontation.
