Ep. 9: Meifuku, the Meiojuu, seeks vengeance against Konton for killing his father and stealing his shell.

Konton, one of the Four Perils, destroys a mountain fortress to establish his lair. Jyuubei announces a bounty on him, prompting Moroha to accept the mission while Towa and Setsuna initially refuse. Jyuubei convinces the girls to join by offering the reward money for information about the Dream Butterfly. The trio battles Konton, but his armor proves too strong until Meifuku, a Meiojuu child, intervenes to rescue them. Meifuku reveals that Konton killed his father and constructed his armor using part of the father's shell. Motivated by a desire to retrieve the shell for a proper funeral, Meifuku confronts Konton. Towa discovers that Konton drained demonic energy from the shell to power his armor. By returning the shell, Konton loses his protection and flees. Meifuku recovers the remains, while the girls regret missing the bounty and a humiliated Konton vows revenge from his new cavern.
