Ep. 8: Riku visits Jyuubei while the girls face Kyuuki's dream trap and energy theft
Riku meets Jyuubei, who reveals his plan to use Towa, Setsuna, and Moroha to defeat the remaining three Perils and claim all seven Rainbow Pearls for demonic power. The trio follows Yotsume to Kyuuki's hideout, where the Purple Rainbow Pearl empowers Yotsume to put Towa, Moroha, and Takechiyo to sleep. Their dreams reveal past secrets: Moroha was given to Hachiemon by Kagome, Takechiyo was entrusted to Jyuubei by Miroku, and Setsuna's memories were sent to the Sacred Tree of Ages. Unable to sleep, Setsuna destroys Yotsume. Kyuuki reclaims the Pearl and drains Towa and Moroha's energy. Setsuna fights alone until Moroha reminds Towa of her ability to steal demonic energy. Towa uses this power to defeat Kyuuki with the Souryuuha attack inherited from her father. Riku arrives for the Purple Rainbow Pearl, and Jyuubei introduces the girls as his employees, rewarding them with gold.
