Ep. 33: Hayate struggles with festival duties while Nagi searches for him amidst chaos.

During Hakuou Academy's culture festival, Hayate is overwhelmed by requests from students and teachers. The Hakuou Three Amiga convince him to work at a cosplay café, which turns out to be a butler café where they play cards. While Hayate and the trio switch shifts, Yukiji abruptly removes him from the premises. Nagi cries because she desperately wanted to walk with him. Hayate is then surrounded by a crowd demanding paperwork as Yukiji forces him to work. Hinagiku helps relieve his frustration. A mysterious dark butler named Puppet Butler hypnotizes Nagi, leading her to find Hayate at the school's old building. There, he challenges Hayate and Hinagiku. After the battle, Nagi remains hypnotized, declaring she hates cultural festivals. She then announces she will teach the "true culture" of Japan by selling all her manga along with Superintendent Kirika.
