Ep. 36: Klaus contemplates retirement after a dream, but Nagi devises a plan to keep him as a butler.

Depressed by a dream of retiring on a Brazilian coffee plantation, Klaus considers leaving after Nagi grants permission. Himuro and Taiga confront him about living in his master's shadow, while Maria attempts to persuade him to stay. Klaus challenges Hayate to a service match to determine the superior butler, but fails, reinforcing his desire to quit. Maria then proposes a scheme involving Hayate's female alter ego, Hermione, which also fails. Just before Klaus departs, Nagi formulates a successful strategy to retain him. Klaus ultimately decides to remain as a Sanzen'in butler. The following day, he is seen ironing newspapers for Nagi, while Hayate and Maria express their relief at his decision to stay.
