Ep. 35: Hayate and Maria gather manga references but are mistaken for a couple by trendy photographers.

Nagi struggles with her new manga and orders Hayate to collect reference materials while sending Maria and Klaus away to ensure she can focus. However, Maria accompanies Hayate, and their mission to find inspiration quickly feels like a date as they observe numerous couples in the city. Hayate attempts to document these scenes for Nagi, but Yukiji, Risa, Miki, and Izumi, disguised as afro photographers, intercept them. The group tries to force a kiss by taking the pair to popular dating locations. To escape the pressure, Hayate and Maria pretend to break up, convincing the trio to leave them alone. They then ride a Ferris wheel together. Upon returning, Nagi reacts with anger to the photos, which primarily feature Hayate and Maria enjoying themselves rather than the requested reference material.
