Ep. 3: The Legend Fades as Sonia Shaflnarz Attacks with a Giant Robot

Hayate and his party face haunted traps in a dungeon, where Hayate is poisoned by a spear while saving Nagi. Hinagiku and Isumi assist by seeking to help Hayate and exorcise spirits. They encounter the ghost of priest Linn Regiostar, who reveals Sister Fortesia is actually Sonia Shaflnarz of the Sicilian Mafia. Sonia pilots a giant M.H.E. robot to attack the Sanzenin family, seeking revenge for her father’s death on Mykonos after Hayate interfered with his assassination attempt on Nagi. During the battle, Yukiji is possessed and attacks using a robot. Linn urges Hayate to unleash power to destroy the machine, while Isumi exorcises Yukiji. The church is destroyed, and Sonia develops feelings for Wataru. Back at the mansion, Klaus reinstates Hayate as a butler, but Hayate collapses from exhaustion.
