The following day, Hayate attends school in a uniform, and Hinagiku whispers for secrecy, though Miki suspects the truth. The recipients return the money to the mansion. Maria discovers Hayate gave away his living expenses and infiltrates the school in a uniform to find him, meeting him on the elevator for the school clock tower.
