Ep. 5: Kazuki Nishizawa pursues Nagi while Hayate observes and later encounters her in a compromising situation.

This episode details how Kazuki Nishizawa, Ayumu's younger brother, met and fell for Nagi. Maria explains that Nagi’s short stature caused an inferiority complex, making her frown often. Nagi visits Wataru’s store and rudely notes he is short too, prompting Kazuki to follow her. He confesses his love and asks for a train ride, which turns into a date. Kazuki suggests they repeat this, but Nagi refuses, stating she likes someone else. Kazuki remains persistent while Hayate watches them all day. Back at the mansion, Nagi feels dejected that Hayate showed no jealousy. Later, while Maria helps Nagi bathe, a sudden visitor forces Maria to ask Hayate for a towel. Hayate enters the bathroom and accidentally sees Nagi naked. When he asks if she is angry, she admits it but forgets why, choosing to kiss him on the cheek instead.
