Ep. 7: Hayate and Maria trapped in elevator while Hinagiku and Ayumu discuss Valentine's Day
Hayate and Maria become trapped in a school clock tower elevator, leading Hayate to discover Maria’s disguise. Maria returns to the mansion after Nagi calls her regarding her poor tea-making skills, having forgotten to ask Hayate for his address. Meanwhile, Hinagiku and Hayate shop for groceries and cook dinner together, accidentally touching hands. Hinagiku questions Hayate about his girlfriend Ayumu, but he denies having one, noting she invited a single man home. Later, Hinagiku meets Ayumu at a mini-market to discuss Valentine’s Day and her relationship with Hayate. Hinagiku adopts a kitten, but Hayate insists they stay awake to care for it. Ayumu shares information about Hayate’s parents with Hinagiku, and Maria confirms she wants Hayate to return to the mansion the next day.
