Ep. 127: Kagome faces cultural festival stress while Naraku nears Shikon Jewel completion

Kagome returns to the modern era seeking relaxation from her feudal experiences, but her peace is disrupted by high school preparations for a cultural festival. Her friends suggest she serve as an understudy, a role she initially resents as the star attraction, though she eventually appreciates her active participation. Concurrently, Naraku is nearly in possession of all Shikon Jewel shards, with only one elusive fragment remaining undiscovered globally. Aware of the danger, Miroku advises Inuyasha to prevent Kagome from being kidnapped again. Inuyasha travels to the present to retrieve her, where he learns about the upcoming school event. This convergence of modern school life and ancient peril highlights the ongoing threat posed by Naraku’s near-complete collection of the jewel fragments.
