Sesshomaru travels to the Netherworld to fight Naraku, but his attacks release poisonous miasma that endangers everyone present. Hosenki challenges Inuyasha to kill him, aiming to strengthen the Tetsusaiga so Inuyasha can defeat Naraku. Inuyasha must decide whether to eliminate the toxic cloud or defeat Hosenki. Recognizing Inuyasha’s selflessness, Hosenki grants him the Adamant Barrage power, which shatters Naraku’s barrier. Meanwhile, Kagome employs a special arrow belonging to Kikyo to force Naraku to manifest through Hakudoshi. This action results in Kagome being injured and causes Naraku to surrender the final shard of the Shikon Jewel, marking a critical turning point in the conflict.
