Inuyasha meets Kochou and Asuka to see Kikyo, who warns of Naraku’s plan to enter the Netherworld. She gives Inuyasha a special arrow for Kagome, to be used when the time is right. The group senses Naraku approaching the phoenix demon nest. Queen Tekkei reveals herself to Naraku and devours him. Princess Abi sends her phoenix demons against Inuyasha and his companions. Naraku betrays them by decapitating Queen Tekkei from the inside and stabbing Princess Abi from the outside. This act opens a river of blood, creating a path for Naraku to reach the Netherworld.
