Ep. 30: Naraku's Castle Showdown After Tetsusaiga Theft by Sango

During a battle between Inuyasha and Kohaku, Sango steals Tetsusaiga and flees. She later encounters Naraku, who has assumed the identity of Kagewaki Hitomi, the lord whose father hired her family on the night her kin were killed. Sango is unable to defeat this form of Naraku because she still cares for Kohaku. The situation changes when Kagome Higurashi arrives to rescue Sango from Naraku's grasp, ending the immediate threat posed by the demon lord's deception.
