Ep. 26: Yuzuki Defies Rules to Punish Azusa, Saving Ai from Eternal Damnation

Takasugi intends to send Azusa to Hell for killing his daughter Akie, but Yuzuki forces his hand and acts alone. The Lord of Hell prepares to punish Yuzuki for breaking the rules, until Ai and her friends intervene. Ai reveals that Takasugi spared Azusa because she cared for his paralyzed father, leaving Yuzuki devastated. As punishment for Ai’s interference, the Lord decrees she must serve as Hell Girl forever. Ai accepts this fate and shares her tragic history with Yuzuki through a kiss, freeing Yuzuki’s soul. In the ending sequence, Azusa stabs Tsujinobashi’s son at the airport and vanishes. It is revealed that Takasugi’s servant Haruko originally sent Azusa to Hell on Akie’s behalf.
