After Yoko defeats the youma leader, King En escorts her to an inn where he recognizes her sword and insists she is a queen. He warns that the scabbard is dead and she will experience visions until mastering the blade. Yoko agrees to visit the palace, retrieving Rakushun first. Upon arrival, she meets Rakushun in his human form and learns from Enki that Keiki is enchanted by an imposter in Kei. They urge her to rescue him and rule Kei. Yoko spends the night contemplating this decision while a servant recounts a story about King En and Enki.
