Ep. 33: Suzu discovers a conspiracy against Shoukou while Yoko and Shoukei escape execution

Suzu visits the palace but finds the queen absent, so she returns to Shoukou’s residence. There, she uncovers a network plotting against him, including Seki and his brother, who invite her to join. Meanwhile, Shoukou employs the unstable Asano to locate Queen Kei, as neither knows her appearance. In a separate event, Shoukei witnesses a public execution and recalls her kingdom before her father’s death. She throws a stone at a guard, prompting Yoko, who is also present, to assist her escape. Yoko utilizes Keiki’s youma to free the condemned man. Earlier, Yoko had left her location after learning that strange men were monitoring her activities.
