The team attacks the base to save Demon 5 before execution. They face the Sonic Mecha again but follow Nambu's advice to emit delayed sounds. This interrupts the mecha's magnetic waves, causing self-destruction. Demon 5 returns to performing safely while the team listens as ordinary citizens.
42EP 42Ryu is captured by Galactor during vacation and taken to Jinjin prison for a recruitment scheme.
Jul 15, 1973While on vacation, Ryu hitches a ride with Galactor, who are transporting death-row escapees from Jinjin prison to join their ranks. Separated from his team because he removed his bracelet, Ryu is taken to the Galactor base. Nambu organizes a counter-operation where Ken, disguised as a commander, loads the prisoners onto the God Phoenix disguised as a transport plane to interrogate the Galactor leader. Ken is knocked unconscious after becoming a suspect, but the Science Ninja Team continues using a tape of Katse's voice. They deceive the prisoners with a fake landscape, returning them to the prison. Ryu reunites with his friends and reflects on a fellow inmate who longs to return home to his family.

A sun ray reflected from Jun's compact causes the machine to self-destruct. Inside the secret base, the team finds Romina and Julia transformed into cyborgs. Refusing to live as Galactor's puppets, the couple chooses death to preserve peace. Embracing, they are struck by lightning, destroying the base and thwarting Galactor's evil scheme.

They successfully destroy the mech by breaking through its defense and bombing it directly, securing victory while Ken remains ignorant of his commander's true identity.
45EP 45The Night Fog Sea Lion Ninja Team
Aug 5, 1973Galactor besieges an ISO island to steal high-energy ore, prompting Nambu to prioritize worker safety over the material. The Science Ninja Team infiltrates the fog-shrouded site, using G-4 to evacuate laborers by hiding them among seals. Although the rescue succeeds, Galactor’s mecha steals the ore and captures the workers as hostages. Katse threatens execution unless the team reveals itself. The Ninja Team appears atop the God Phoenix, but a baby seal Jinpei brought along jumps into the sea, distracting the enemy. Seizing this moment, the team launches a counter-attack, successfully reclaiming the stolen ore from the mecha.
46EP 46Ken is forced to fly a plane, loses his radio, and pursues a traitor to a Galactor mine.
Aug 12, 1973Ken is coerced at an airport to pilot a two-seater aircraft by an armed man. During the flight, Ken attempts to disarm him, but the man shoots a wire, causing a crash. The man escapes with the sole parachute, claiming he will sell information to the ISO. Ken’s radio bracelet is damaged in the landing. Ken spots a Galactor Mecha and follows the man to an abandoned Galactor mine in a valley. Both are captured and hung in an old well. The man, a Galactor traitor, reveals a tape recording a conversation between Katse and a foreign Prime Minister. Ken transforms to rescue the man and defeat the Galactor members. An explosion severely injures the man, who has seen Ken’s true identity. The surviving Galactor commander attacks with a mecha. The man gives Ken a smashed tape and a message for his mother in Hontwall, then sacrifices himself and the commander by falling into the valley. Only the name Arthur Kelly remains.
47EP 47The Devil's Airline
Aug 19, 1973Director Anderson transports a critical ultracomputer core via private jet to the Jetol plateau research institute. Galactor intercepts the flight, with disguised Katse replacing a stewardess and hijacking the aircraft. After eliminating the pilot, Katse steers the plane toward Galactor’s base using radio guidance. Director Anderson sends a Morse code distress signal, prompting the Science Ninja Team to pursue in the God Phoenix. They are led into a trap at the enemy stronghold. Anderson ejects safely, but the computer core remains inside. A battle ensues where the Science Ninja Team’s superior teamwork allows them to retrieve the component. They destroy the base with a rocket and proceed to the research institute.

Ken and the others attach a wire to track him. When Katse attempts to fire an electronic laser flash, Ken throws his boomerang into the shutter mechanism. The laser reflects inward, destroying the mecha. The team returns to base with a damaged hull, but Katse vows to return.

With the assassination attempt thwarted, Ken receives news that he may finally meet his father, leaving him filled with hope.

World leaders convene under pressure while Nambu locks the doors, urging faith in the Science Ninja Team. The team mobilizes to retrieve the rocket, but Ken infiltrates the facility alone. As Galactor switches to manual control, Ken signals his allies while sleeping workers rest, only to face Katse’s gun. Ken transforms, but the Red Impulse commander also arrives, pointing his weapon at Katse. The God Phoenix intervenes, causing Katse to flee and the defense minister to fall to his death. Ken volunteers to pilot the rocket, learning that Red Impulse is his father. Despite their reunion, the commander ejects Ken, enters the rocket, and launches it into the sky, saving Earth.

Inside, he finds cleaning work for returning submarines and is discovered by Galactor. After defeating enemies, Ken pursues Katse as the tankers merge into a huge tanker emitting a magnetic force that cracks the God Phoenix. Katse activates a self-destruct mechanism and escapes via a rocket through a floor passageway. Ken and Galactor members exit into the sea, where the members die upon touching the flowing pollution matter. Ken is narrowly saved by a mechanical arm from the God Phoenix. Finally, Galactor releases cleaning capsules into the sea, restoring its former beauty.
56EP 56Koji abandons his mission to destroy a missile base and faces orders to assassinate a president.
Oct 21, 1973Jun is attacked by bikers until Koji, a childhood friend and former race champion, rescues her. Now a Black Bird commander, Koji travels to destroy a missile base but flees without planting the bomb, remembering Jun. Dec 9, 1973During a baseball match, players disappear amid power outages, prompting Nambu to suspect Galactor. The Science Ninja Team guards the stadium, but ball boy Jinpei vanishes too. Ken and Jun fall into a secret underground base after the ground splits open, joining Jinpei in a cell. They learn brainwashed players are being trained for Galactor. After escaping, they learn Katse plans to detonate a hydrogen bomb during the evening game if a home run hits the backscreen. Ken alerts Nambu while Joe and Ryu search for the device. As the game begins, a home run is hit. The ninja miss their shots, but Ken’s boomerang pierces the ball just before it strikes the backscreen, preventing the explosion.
