Hajime gathers the group, claiming tarot cards will identify the killer who misplaces them. When Takuya Kojo guesses incorrectly regarding the Hanged Man card, Hajime accuses him. Kojo initially denies involvement but confesses to planning the murders as revenge for being a kidnapped child 15 years ago. He reveals Hayami killed his father and raised Reika, whose real name is Azusa, as his daughter. Kojo targeted Akama due to his evil nature. Reika flees into the snow and nearly dies in an avalanche, but Kojo sacrifices himself to save her. Afterwards, Reika recognizes Miyuki’s love for Hajime and chooses not to compete for his affection.
