Ep. 33: Shion and Grisor lead the group to ancient ruins to restore the broken Mamodo Mirror.
Shion receives the final piece of the Mamodo Mirror from Zatch and takes the group to Grisor, who holds the remaining fragment. Kiyo and Zatch accompany them to learn more about the artifact. Grisor claims that possessing the complete Mirror allows escape from the Mamodo King battle, explaining it was shattered into three pieces when brought to the Human World. Dr. Hakase, Grisor’s partner, suggests reuniting the pieces at nearby ruins to restore it. Although Kiyo distrusts Grisor, they proceed to the location. Shion hopes this will let her stay with Nya. Hakase watches secretly, seeking revenge on the Academic Society. At the site, Grisor directs a dance ritual to distract the group while he and Shion assemble the Mirror. Once restored, Grisor steals it, revealing the ruins were fake and the dance a trick. Kiyo and the others chase him through the smoke.
