The Silvana faces a Guild assault, requiring defense until fuel shortages force a withdrawal. Claus and Lavie join the fight in a spare vanship, though Claus struggles with maneuvering. Dio observes Claus performing a Scissors and an Immelmann turn, dubbing him "Immelmann" before entering the battle alongside Lucciola. Rather than destroying them, Dio toys with Claus and Lavie, achieving multiple target locks before disengaging. Lavie fails to reload and suffers redout during an escape attempt. Tatiana returns to engage Dio, prompting Lucciola to disconnect and fight her instead. Dio prepares to fire but is recalled by Guild forces before he can strike. Back on the Silvana, Tatiana criticizes Claus for flying permissions and blames Lavie for poor navigation.
