Claus and Lavie return the unconscious Al to their home, where Claus devises an escape plan via underground water canals to evade detection by a star-shaped fighter. Lavie tries to dissuade him and mentions rumors regarding the mysterious Silvana. Upon waking, Al is kept unaware that her caretaker Guita died with Ralph on Wednesday. The fighter later locates their residence and destroys it. The trio escapes in a vanship through the canals, but Al eventually learns of Guita’s death. Near the canal's end, the fighter damages the vehicle, forcing an emergency landing in temple ruins outside Norkia. The fighter captures Al and prepares to kill Claus until a gunshot causes the machine to collapse.
