The Silvana docks at Casino Royale for repairs, granting the crew shore leave. Lavie reunites with Mullin Shetland, who plans to join the Goliath. Claus meets Alister Agrew while Alvis sleeps. Mullin meets Count Knowles, who mocks his medals. During a bird race, the Goliath crew rigs the field, angering Lavie and sparking a fight. Station owner Walker alerts Alex Row to an Exile-related auction. Mullin claims the Goliath fled Minagith without fighting, provoking Knowles. Walker stops the brawl, but Knowles challenges Alex to a duel. Knowles fires first upon departure, but the Silvana sinks the Goliath instantly with new weapons. Lavie awards Mullin a handmade medal.
