Ep. 6: Lupin and Goemon escape a virtual reality simulation funded by Ruriko Shigetomi.

In a Shigetomi department store circa 1930, Goemon attacks Lupin, who escapes noting the sword is not Zantetsuken. Colonel Daidoji and Major Hongo seize a key from Sarantuya, heir to the Altan Khoto Kingdom, to support a puppet government in Inner Mongolia. Ruriko, Sarantuya, Akechi, Black Lizard, and Lupin are trapped by mirror panels. Lupin enters a code, transporting the group back to an automaton clock room where he reunites with Goemon. Lupin recalls they infiltrated a research facility but were trapped in a virtual machine designed to extract his hideout password. The code triggered self-destruction, forcing researchers to release them as the simulation disintegrated. The facility was funded by Ruriko Shigetomi, with the Showa era events based on her memories. Later, an excavation uncovers a stone engraved with words indicating master thief Arséne Lupin, also known as the Golden Mask, was present in the 1930s.
