The Foundation reveals the replica holds national secrets and hires Lupin to smuggle it back. He teams up with Maria to deliver the item to Kingsland. The group faces uncertainty regarding whether Lupin is being deceived by the Foundation's true intentions during this high-stakes transport mission.
