Ep. 7: Inspector Detector investigates stolen gold while Racer X defends against motorcycle attackers.

Inspector Detector searches entrants for $50,000,000 in stolen gold before the No Limit World Race. The Mammoth Car driver shows no gold, but Speed suspects a secret and sends a homing robot with X-ray film, which is destroyed. The Mammoth Car forces the Mach 5 off the road, prompting a squad of motorcyclists to descend. Racer X spills oil to crash them. Meanwhile, Spritle and Chim Chim stow away on Cruncher Block's airplane. The Mach 5 and Mammoth Car collide and veer into the forest. Speed uses rotary saws to clear trees, but the Mammoth Car mows its own path and encircles the Mach 5. Guns emerge, and Speed closes the cockpit to block bullets, escaping through a gap into a lake.
